SMS messaging consent
Patients may opt in to text messages on the registration form at
/signup, by texting START to the practice's phone
number, or verbally when speaking with the practice. The consent
checkbox on the registration form is optional and unchecked by default,
and reads:
I agree to receive SMS/text messages from the healthcare practice
regarding appointments, reminders, and other healthcare-related
communications.
SMS consent is optional and not a condition of treatment. Message
frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or
STOP to opt out at any time. Your mobile information will not be shared
with third parties for marketing purposes.
Messages are customer care only; no marketing or promotional messages
